What are your very first memories of LEGO toys?

Going to my friend’s house to play with her brother’s LEGO sets until she worked it out, then things go a bit tense LOL.

What’s your favourite LEGO theme, if you have one, and why? 

Harry Potter, anything R2D2 and Yoda.

Describe your best ever MOC?

I have made so many awesome creations. My most enjoyable has been the Great Barrier Reef that I partnered with Frances to build. My plan is to redo it with all my new ideas and special parts I’ve been collecting.

Describe your current or most recent LEGO project?

About to build the new Yoda bust.

Dream big. If you could build anything out of LEGO bricks, what would that dream build be?

A full-size Christmas tree which would be on display all year ’round.

If you were building yourself as a LEGO Minifigure, what would be the defining characteristic or LEGO accessory that your sigfig would have, that would make it so you?

A BrickResales shirt of course! And my curly hair.

Weirdest place/s you’ve ever seen or discovered a LEGO brick?

We ‘grow’ them in our garden beds. They are blown off the drying tables all the time!

I decided to do one thing and do it well, so I created it!

What are your very first memories of LEGO toys?

My first memories are of the Space Lander set... lots of blue bricks and the first of the articulated arm large minifigs.

What’s your favourite LEGO theme, if you have one, and why?

Favourite theme is classic Technic sets, back when Technic used the studded beams. It was the era of the Technic super car/auto chassis models (early 1980s).

Do you MOC? If so, describe your best ever MOC?

I do MOC, mainly large-scale vehicles or in similar scale to the LEGO produced Volkswagen Kombi/ Beetle. I have a collection of vehicles from my favourite movies including the General Lee Dodge Charger from Dukes of Hazard, Ecto 1 from Ghostbusters, Pursuit Special from Mad Max, Batmobile from 89 Batman movie and my favourite MOC... the Delorean from Back to the Future.

Describe your current or most recent LEGO project?

I am currently building some more of my MOC minifigs-scale Kombis. I am trying to build one in each of the available colours, currently at about 25 different versions.

Dream big. If you could build anything out of LEGO bricks, what would that dream build be?

I would love to be able to build a large space display, using the Classic Space colours of light grey, blue and trans yellow.

If you were building yourself as a LEGO Minifigure, what would be the defining characteristic or LEGO accessory that your sigfig would have, that would make it so you?

A minifig head with a grey goatee.

Weirdest place/s you’ve ever seen or discovered a LEGO brick?

When working several years ago as a cleaner in a resort, I came across a minifig in the garden outside a unit.

What are your very first memories of LEGO toys

Playing with a police station set at my grandma's when I was very young.

What’s your favourite LEGO theme, if you have one, and why?

BrickHeadz, by far! The technical parts usage is so amazing and I love the fact that you can make a LEGO version of yourself or friends, or even a character out of any person you admire or a fan of.

Describe your best ever MOC?

My best MOC would be the unicorn bike from LEGO Masters Australia. I've also made a working record player 99 per cent out of LEGO pieces with only the needle pick up being a non-LEGO part.

Describe your current or most recent LEGO project?

I'm currently building a diorama of a gym that's here on the Gold Coast.

Dream big. If you could build anything out of LEGO bricks, what would that dream build be?

Well, I love cars. The fully working Bugatti was pretty awesome. So I'd say a full-size working car is up there!

If you were building yourself as a LEGO Minifigure, what would be the defining characteristic or LEGO accessory that your sigfig would have, that would make it so you?

Headphones.

Weirdest place/s you’ve ever seen or discovered a LEGO brick?

I had to do sound installation once at a gentlemen's club. There was a tub of LEGO bricks at the back for when the girls weren’t on stage.

I have multiple LEGO-themed tattoos.

Tell us about your history/experience with BrickResales? What do you love most about BrickResales?

What I really love about BrickResales other than the enormous amounts of loose LEGO, the rare and old sets, and the fact that they always have what I want is... the people! They are very knowledgeable and always more than willing to help. They like to have a chat about what projects you are building and just get all nerdy about LEGO stuff. Love them!

Opening my first LEGO Duplo Bob the Builder set when I was two years old.

Do you MOC (ie. build your own creations, sans-instructions)? If so, describe your best ever MOC?

My Xenomorph Alien, based off the Alien movies.

Describe your current or most recent LEGO project?

Currently building a portrait of a border collie named Richie, with his owner in the background. Next project will be a Lilo and Stitch crossover art piece!

If you could build anything out of LEGO bricks, what would be your dream build?

The Walt Disney Studios logo on a ridiculously large scale, which would be displayed at Disney Land.

If you were building yourself as a LEGO Minifigure (called a “signature figurine” or “sigfig” forshort), what would be the defining characteristic or LEGO accessory that your sigfig would have, that would make it so you?

Ironically, a LEGO brick because they’re always in my hand!

Weirdest place/s you’ve ever seen or discovered a LEGO brick?

Once, when I was walking around my high school, I found a 1x2 plate on the ground – to clarify, there were no LEGO bricks anywhere in my high school.

Because I’ve never stopped playing, learning and building with it, ever since I was a two-year-old!
