Got Questions About Selling your Lego?

Do they have to be genuine LEGO pieces?

Yes. It’s important to note that BrickResales strictly buys pre-loved, genuine LEGO pieces only. Any clone brands or knock-offs will not be accepted. We recommend going through your collection thoroughly to make the selling process smoother.

Do you buy everywhere in Australia?

Yes we do! We buy from all over Australia every day.

How much do you pay?

We purchase LEGO parts & sets, from bricks to Technic to animals,  at various rates depending on condition. This includes Minifigures.

What information do I need to provide?

When initiating a sale, please send us photos of your pre-loved LEGO® collection, your location and your details by completing our form above.

Can I bring my LEGO collection to your Showroom?

We can collect from you if you are outside Brisbane, but please do not bring it directly into our Showroom until we have seen your photos via our form here. We will let you know if it is what we are buying atm. At different times, we are in need of different LEGO® items, so it can vary from time to time. Once we have received and weighed or checked your LEGO® collection, you will receive payment within 24 hours. We even cover the cost of the freight.

Do you buy sets?

We sure do! We are always buying brand new collections. If your sets are preloved, even with some missing pieces, we buy them as LEGO® parts. We give away surplus instruction booklets for free at our Showroom and through the many schools we support.

Do I need to clean my LEGO pieces?

No. To make it easy for you, we have our own stringent cleaning & sterilising process so you don’t need to worry. Every single LEGO® brick and part is thoroughly cleaned and sanitised by our team before it goes on sale.

Do I weigh the LEGO parts myself?

If you are sending your LEGO® collection to us, please weigh it if you can and give us an estimation on the form above. Once received, we will weigh the LEGO® pieces on our commercial scales and give you the final weight. If you are bringing your LEGO® collection to our BrickResales Showroom, we have our own commercial scales to weigh your LEGO® parts there. 

Do I need to provide a container?

If you are sending it to us, please pour it all into packing box/es or containers with lids securely sealed with tape. We prefer as few boxes/containers as possible. Same with brand new collections and sets, the better the packaging the better it arrives to us!
